SLABS ORDER FORM
SLAB ORDER AND DELIVERY INFORMATION
PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION AND THEN PLACE YOUR ORDER BELOW
We shall then follow up with an emailed invoice with payment details. Please fill in the delivery information in FULL so that we can ensure a smooth delivery for you as it allows us to troubleshoot ahead of time. Our aim is to make it as easy as possible for everyone. We rely on our customers to give us accurate information so we can make deliveries as easy as possible.
Deliveries can be at any time of the day, if you wish to narrow the window to an AM or PM delivery please indicate that on the order form (£18 incl VAT additional charge, refunded in full if the delivery company doesn’t deliver within the promised window).
PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT THE DELIVERY DRIVERS ARE ONLY CONTRACTED & INSURED TO DELIVER TO KERBSIDE. IT IS ENTIRELY AT THE DRIVER'S DISCRETION WHETHER THEY DRIVE ONTO YOUR PROPERTY OR NOT. MANY ARE NOT INSURED TO DO SO. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE DELIVERY BEYOND KERBSIDE.
Deliveries will usually take place between 9am and 5pm unless you have requested and paid for an AM or PM delivery. Our deliveries are made by a national pallet delivery network and therefore we do not have live information regarding your delivery times. DRIVERS ARE ONLY CONTRACTED TO DELIVER TO KERBSIDE - THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT DELIVERY WILL BE TO THE DOOR.
If you require delivery to be made somewhere other than a physical address with a postcode and buildings and smooth hard standing, please indicate this on the order form and we will contact you to discuss before we issue an invoice. WE CANNOT USUALLY DELIVER TO A FIELD / PADDOCK UNLESS SPECIFIC CRITERIA ARE MET, so please contact us before ordering to discuss your requirements.
If you can get a bin lorry in, or if a kerbside delivery is possible from an 18t lorry, then please choose that option. Availability of the 7.5t lorries is more problematic, they cannot always be guaranteed to be available, leading to delivery problems.
Please bear lorry sizes in mind.
SLABS: IMPORTANT PALLET CAPACITY DELIVERY INFORMATION
The slabs are very heavy and therefore there are weight restrictions on pallet sizes that the lorry tail lifts can handle.
Delivery costs are calculated by our shipping partners and charged PER PALLET SPACE on the delivery network, not per delivery drop off, so bear this in mind when ordering.
Multiple pallets can usually be delivered at the same time if required:
A 7.5/12 tonne lorry can only handle up to 25 sq metres per pallet (100 slabs per pallet/700kg)
An 18 tonne lorry can only handle up to 35 sq metres per pallet (140 slabs per pallet/980kg)
UNFORTUNATELY FENCING & SLAB ORDERS CANNOT BE COMBINED DUE TO THE PRODUCTS BEING DISTRIBUTED FROM DIFFERENT WAREHOUSES, LOCATED IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE COUNTRY - WE APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED
We are aware that users of Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge can have issues with completing and submitting this order form. If you run in to difficulties, please download our order form (right click if not automatic) and email to us.
If you are having issues with submitting the order form, or did not see the pop-up box when you hit Submit Order, then please download the order form HERE (right click the link if it does not auto download)
As soon as we receive your payment (by bank transfer, full details will be on the Invoice, or by debit or credit card over the phone) we will send a VAT invoice and be in touch for you to choose a delivery day.
WHAT HAPPENS ON DELIVERY DAY?
You should receive an email with a two hour delivery window as a guideline, on the delivery day you have chosen. These emails aren’t sent out until your order is loaded onto the delivery lorry, so if you don’t get it in the morning, your delivery will be on the lorry’s second or third run of the day.
We always request that the drivers should call ahead of delivery, and if they don’t then they have to wait for you if necessary.
