DELIVERING MUDCONTROL SLABS
GENERAL INFO
THIS INFORMATION PERTAINS TO DELIVERY OF ORIGINAL MUDCONTROL SLABS & NOT HEX SLABS, BLOCK PAVING SLABS OR FENCING

Fast delivery from UK stock, dispatched after receipt of payment. Our standard ECO service Lead Time is 3 working days, or we can do Next Day priority delivery to most areas (additional cost of £14.40 per delivery, not per pallet),
Mudcontrol Slabs are delivered stacked and secured on a pallet, with a maximum of 35 sq metres/140 per pallet for delivery on an 18 tonne lorry and 25 sq metres/100 slabs per pallet on smaller lorries. COST IS PER PALLET.
THERE IS NO LOWER OR UPPER LIMIT, we will send out any amount.
Don't need a full pallet? Take a look at our Shared Pallet page and share your delivery costs with others in your area.
A full pallet of slabs weighs approximately 1 tonne and is 2 metres tall.
HOW DOES DELIVERY WORK?
We offer two delivery options, a standard "BOOK IN WITH CLIENT" option and a "PRIORITY DELIVERY" option.
BOOK IN WITH CLIENT - This means that we’ll dispatch the order A.S.A.P. (usually on the next working day after receiving payment). When the delivery company which covers your area receives your pallet(s) through the network, THEY WILL TEXT & CALL YOU to arrange delivery on a day which suits you.
If you are receiving 35sq m pallet(s) on a large lorry, then you can generally book in for delivery on the day of your choice when placing your order. Please let us know in the NOTES section of your order form which day you require (this does not cover priority/next day delivery and cannot be guaranteed).
Equally, if you want to delay your delivery, please let us know so we don’t dispatch your order straight away.
PRIORITY DELIVERY - £12 + VAT charge, for when you require Next Day Delivery or need to have a quick, specific, guaranteed weekday booked. PLEASE SPECIFY THE DAY YOU REQUIRE IN THE NOTES.
Priority Next Day delivery for full pallets of 35 square metres (or multiples thereof) must be paid for and booked in before 3pm.
Priority Next Day delivery for any other amount (delivery includes a shortened pallet of less than 35sq m) must be paid for and booked in before 10am.
Priority delivery excludes weekends and some parts of the country (including most areas of Scotland)
PLEASE READ & CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING CRUCIAL POINTS
1 - Delivery is charged PER PALLET on the national pallet delivery network, not per drop
(We will send any amount on a pallet up to 35 sq m on a large 18t lorry or 25sq m on a smaller 7.5t/12t lorry).
To find out the cost of delivery PER PALLET to your postcode PLEASE CLICK HERE to access our Postcode Delivery Cost Table.
2 - Delivery costs are calculated on a postcode basis, this is so that you are not subsidising deliveries in higher cost areas - you pay what it costs to deliver to you (for further information regarding this, please click HERE).
3 - Delivery is guaranteed to kerbside and pallets can only be unloaded on to LEVEL hard tarmac or concrete - NO HILLS, NO GRAVEL, NO GRASS, NO HARDCORE, NO EXCEPTIONS. If you do not have tarmac or concrete available, then a piece of ply, or Mudcontrol slabs themselves can be use to offload on to. Worried that your Mudcontrol slabs won't be delivered to where you are installing them? Don't worry, they are easy to move, so if your property access is not good, then have them delivered locally (a village hall car park for example) and handball them off in to your vehicle and take them exactly where you need them quickly and easily!
(Unsure? Find out more HERE and watch this video. Whilst the trolley does most of the work, all of the weight is being put on the small, hard wheels. Please note how little clearance there is beneath the trolley. Whilst our yard is gravel, you can see that we have used Mudcontrol slabs to create a solid, hard surface to facilitate delivery.)
4 - Full pallets of 35 square metres are 980kg stacked 2m tall and cannot be unloaded on a hill, it’s too dangerous, the drivers can’t hold that much weight safely on the electric pallet trolleys they use to unload off the tail lift. So please think of an alternative delivery point if your delivery address is on a hill.
5 - Delivery will be on an 18t lorry unless a smaller lorry (7.5t / 12t) is requested and is available - it is your responsibility to consider your access and book the correct lorry size accordingly (read more HERE). Please note that due to tail lift weight restrictions, lorries under 18t can only deliver shortened pallets of up to 25 sq metres/100 slabs per pallet.
6 - Please be realistic about your property access limitations. If delivery fails due to your misinformation, you WILL be charged for re-delivery. A narrow entrance, overhanging trees or a narrow gateway can all be very problematic for the delivery driver.
If in doubt, err on the side of caution and please feel free to contact us and we will work with you to find a solution - we always find a way to ensure a successful delivery.
7 - Unavoidable delays - Sometimes there are unavoidable delays on the delivery network, this is totally out of our hands. If you are getting slabs for a specific job and will have workers to lay the slabs, please allow a clear day between the delivery and the start of work, in case of delays.
